West Linn defeats Mountainside 68-49 in front of a jam packed crowd at the Staples Gymnasium. West Linn dynamic backcourt in seniors Jackson Shelstad and Adrian Mosely scored 17 points a piece while Michigan State (football) commit senior Sam Leavitt scored a team high 18 points.
As for the Mavericks, stud Sophomore Brayden Boe lead all scorers with 25 points. Senior post Jaylin Ormond showed promise by scoring 10 points and dominating inside at times while freshman sensation Eli Vizconde scored 12 points.
Overall, this was a fun game to watch and the atmosphere was electrifying. Both teams are built to win their respected league titles and fans can only hope they matchup again at the Chiles Center.
