Santiam Christian Senior 5’11 Audrey Miller was fantastic! I was really impressed with her shooting ability, playing solid defense and play making ability for her teammates. She is a player to watch in the 3rd place game against Nyssa tomorrow.
As for Sutherlin, seniors 6’1 P Amy Dickover and SG Jaydn Vermillion are one of the best inside out combos in the state! In this game, Amy dominated the glass and scoring inside, while Jaydn showcased her all around ability to score from all over the court. With that said, in my opinion, Super Sophomore PG Micah Wicks is the engine to this team. The steady pg controlled the tempo all game long and usually makes all the right plays. She also can score in a variety of ways but her ability to lead the team is whats more impressive.

Sutherlin vs Clatskanie in a lot of people eyes are tied for #1 in state! Clatskanie defeated Sutherlin for the state title last season. This year, both teams brought back majority of there star players and it should be another exciting game.
Sutherlin will be lead by Jaydn Vermillion, Amy Dickover and Micah Wicks.
Clatskanie will be lead back to back State Player of the Year Shelby Blodgett and First Team All State Olivia Sprague.
