This was a close game before St Paul went on a 5-0 run in the middle of the Fourth Quarter to push this game to a 47-37 advantage with 4:26 left in the game.Burns would respond and make this a 6 point game with 2:24 left. However, this one was decided by rebounds as St Paul dominated the boards and got more second chance opportunities.
This was a really close game with St Paul extending their winning streak to 42 straight games, Allie Hueckman’s 21 points wouldn’t be enough as St Paul pulls away with a 54-49 victory.
We thought Burns would be struggling to keep up against top teams as they recently lost two players with season ending injuries but they played really well keeping up with a dominant 1a team. Burns kept on making big shots and kept in this game all the way till the end.
