The stage is set and there can only be one winner! Cascade Christian will take on Yamhill Carlton for the State Title!
Cascade Christian finished runner up State Champions last year and they are eager for redemption. CC will lean heavily on Matt McPheeters, Morgan Law and relentless pressure defense from Cody Reese.
Yamhill- Carlton are lead by two dynamite sophomores in Moroni and Malachi Seely-Roberts. These two guys can take over a game in a hurry but it’s the teams defense and unselfishness on offense that brings them success.
Who will be the Unsung Hero in the championship game?
Unsung hero’s are players that make big plays for there team but doesn’t get much recognition for it.
Here are my two picks:
Yamhill- Carlton
Tre Richmond - This guy is a hustle player that all coaches dream of having. He is relentless on the glass, plays tough defense and do the little things that goes unnoticed by most fans. Keep an eye on him tomorrow because his efforts will be counted on for YC to win the title.
Cascade Christian
Braydn Coppedge hit some big three in the final four to help bring his team back from being down. This game should be a good one and close so look for Braydn to make some “Unsung Hero” plays to give his team a chance to win.
