What are your closing thoughts on Riverdale HS, Lewis and Clark League and 3A as a whole?
LC has done a tremendous job building a strong and competitive basketball league. Some very good coaches are in that league James Brodaus (De La Salle, Ed Kirk (OES), Dave Henry (Westside Christian) and all the other coaches as well. I love 3A as a whole because its small and everyone knows each other, but I t’s highly competitive with some amazing pogroms.
I’ll miss the rivals! This would have been my 10th year.
What was your first reaction when you officially got the job and why?
I’m excited! I like Sandy High School from the outside. I think what I’m really looking forward to is the one high school town. The facilities are amazing! I’ve enjoyed the people I’ve met there so far and I’m ready to start coaching.
What are your thoughts on the Mt Hood Conference?
Very tough league! I’m looking forward to coaching against some of the best coaches and programs in the state.
What are your expectations heading into this season?
To establish are culture and style…
