Westside Christian defeats Neah-Kah-Nie 67-39. The Eagles was lead Dax Hanzlik with 12 points, 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. Will Ficker and Kyler Crites both scored 13 points each while Khalid Hodge finished with an impressive 9 points, 7 assists and 7 steals.
Westside Christian is 32 minutes away from accomplishing one of their main goals of playing for a state championship. If WC can show up tomorrow locked in focus then they have strong shot at playing for the state title.
Harrisburg defeated #13 Burn’s 44-29. Burg was lead Terren Crabb with 17pts, 4asts and 5stls, while Jack Lidbeck chipped in with 13pts.
Harrisburg will have to bring their A game and execute their coaches game plan to give themselves a chance in the fourth quarter.
#2 Valley Catholic vs #6 Cascade Christian 3:15pm at Marshfield HS. P
Cascade Christian used a strong third quarter and scored 23 points to defeat De La Salle North Catholic 78-60. Austin Maurer scored 24 points , 14 rebounds and 5 blocks. Freshman star Avery Huston scored 24 points and graded 10 rebounds.
The Challengers will have to overcome another tough obstacle as they will face a tough Valley Catholic team.
Valley Catholic hangs on to defeat Dayton 62-55 to advance to the first final four. Valley was lead by Luke Jarussi with 14 points, while Zach Pippin 13 points and 5 assists and Jackson Farris 12 points.
Valley Catholic will have to stay disciplined for 32 minutes if they want to give themselves a chance to win in the fourth quarter. Valley has size and athletic playmakers that can matchup with Cascade Christian.
